CopyBet Becomes AFC Bournemouth’s Official Betting Partner Ahead of Historic Europa League Debut

2026-07-17

CopyBet has been named the official betting partner of AFC Bournemouth for the 2026/27 season, aligning with the club's first UEFA Europa League campaign. The deal reflects shared values of growth and ambition between the UK-licensed sportsbook and the Premier League side.

CopyBet has signed an Official Betting Partner agreement with AFC Bournemouth for the 2026/27 season, a deal that comes as the Premier League side prepares for its first-ever UEFA Europa League campaign.

Partnership Details

The UK-licensed sportsbook operator will serve as the club’s official betting partner during what both parties describe as a landmark season. AFC Bournemouth qualified for European competition after a record Premier League finish, marking the first time in the club’s history it will enter the Europa League.

Mark Smith, UK Managing Director of CopyBet, highlighted the alignment between the two organisations. “What AFC Bournemouth has achieved should be an inspiration to any challenger organisation,” he said. “Their success has not been built on having the biggest resources or the loudest voice.” He added that the timing of the deal, just before the club’s European bow, makes it “an especially exciting moment.”

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, echoed that sentiment. “While we operate in very different industries, there was a clear alignment in our ambitions and values, which made this partnership feel like a natural fit,” he said. “We look forward to working together during what promises to be a memorable season for the club and our supporters.”

Strategic Context

Founded in 2016, CopyBet offers betting across football, horse racing, tennis, and a range of international sports. The deal gives the operator a platform in one of the most-watched football leagues globally, as well as exposure during Bournemouth’s Europa League fixtures. Smith noted that CopyBet respects organisations that “consistently outperform expectations” and sees the partnership as a way to engage with the club’s fan base throughout the season.

Both sides framed the agreement as a meeting of challenger mindsets. Bournemouth’s rise from the lower leagues to established Premier League status and now European competition mirrors CopyBet’s growth in a competitive market. “Both organisations are continually looking for ways to improve and refusing to be defined by size alone,” Mitchell added.
