João Rachid Motta is a Brazilian lawyer and iGaming executive with deep expertise in lottery and sports-betting regulation. He holds a degree from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and early in his career was a partner in a law firm alongside Rodrigo Crespo. Currently, he is a partner at TechGaming360, a consultancy and legal firm focused on lottery and betting regulation.
He later founded Club do Bet, an operator involved in video-lottery terminals (VLTs) in Rio de Janeiro. In 2024, he became CEO of Apostou.com, the brand behind one of the first state-lottery concessions in Paraná and a federal sports-betting licence. Under his leadership, Apostou launched the “Raspinha” instant-lottery ticket and deployed dozens of VLTs in Paraná.
He left Apostou in 2025 and joined TechGaming360 as a partner, where he now advises on regulatory affairs, compliance, and market entry for lottery and gaming projects. He is a regular speaker at Brazilian iGaming conferences such as IGI Expo and BOGEC, and is quoted in industry media as a specialist in lotteries and betting.
