In summer 2024, Baca transitioned to the role of Chairman of the Supervisory Board, overseeing the strategic direction of the group.

Prior to leading Tipico, Baca served as Chief Operating Officer of bwin.party digital entertainment, where he played a key operational role before its acquisition by Entain. He also held a board director position at bwin.party from 2011 to 2012. Earlier in his career, Baca held various roles at bwin, Red Bull, and Marchfifteen, building a foundation in sports and digital entertainment.
