Chairman of Hard Rock International and Hard Rock Digital, and Chief Executive Officer of Seminole Gaming
Jim Allen is a gaming and hospitality industry veteran with nearly five decades of experience. He oversees all gaming, hospitality, and entertainment operations for the Seminole Tribe of Florida since 2001, transforming Seminole Gaming into one of the world’s most successful casino and integrated resort operators.
Under his leadership, the enterprise expanded to six Florida casino locations, including the world’s first Guitar Hotel (opened 2019). He led the Seminole Tribe’s acquisition of Hard Rock International in 2007, expanding the brand from 46 to nearly 80 countries with over 300 locations.
In 2020 he launched Hard Rock Digital, a joint venture for online sports betting and iGaming. Allen also served as Chairman of the Board of the American Gaming Association. Seminole Gaming has maintained investment-grade ratings from Fitch and S&P for 15 consecutive years and was the first private gaming company named a U.S. Best Managed Company by Deloitte and the Wall Street Journal (2021–2025).
He also oversaw the 2022 acquisition of The Mirage in Las Vegas for redevelopment into a Hard Rock destination and has driven partnerships with Formula 1, Oracle Red Bull Racing, and Lionel Messi.
