DJ Tiësto

Tijs Michiel Verwest (born 17 January 1969 in Breda, Netherlands), known professionally as Tiësto, is a Dutch DJ and record producer who is often called the Godfather of EDM.

Tiësto began DJing professionally in the mid-1990s and co-founded Black Hole Recordings in 1997. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" brought him mainstream attention. He released his debut solo album In My Memory in 2001 and was voted World No.1 DJ by DJ Magazine for three consecutive years. In 2004 he became the first DJ to perform live at an Olympic Games opening ceremony. He won a Grammy Award for his remix of John Legend's "All of Me" and has released albums including Elements of Life, Kaleidoscope, and A Town Called Paradise.

In 2026, Tiësto was announced as the headline act for the INFINITY Lisbon closing party at the SBC Summit, a leading iGaming conference.
