Dany Mawas

Dany Mawas is a senior executive in the CFD/forex/fintech space with over 15 years of experience building and scaling brokers across Africa, MENA, and global markets. He currently serves as CEO Africa at ATFX Group, a global online trading provider, and as Co-Founder & CEO of L7 Prime (formerly Fortress Core), a full-suite tech and liquidity provider for brokers, prop firms, and crypto exchanges. He is also a recognised thought leader, investor, board member, and fintech advisor, regularly featured in CNBC Africa, FX News, and TradeInformer.

Mawas was appointed CEO of ATFX Africa in early 2025, following a year and a half of collaboration between ATFX Connect and L7 Prime. His expertise spans regulatory frameworks, institutional liquidity, white-label infrastructure, and payment orchestration. He has been based in South Africa for over a decade and has built a strong reputation for driving regional expansion.

Prior to his current roles, Mawas held senior leadership positions at major forex brokers. He served as Managing Director for Africa at FXCM, Global Head of Retention at INFINOX, and CEO of Africa at Finalto. His career path reflects a consistent focus on emerging markets and institutional-grade solutions, making him a prominent figure in the CFD industry.
