Aaron LaBerge is an American technology executive and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Head of Interactive at PENN Entertainment, a role he assumed in July 2024. He oversees the company’s technology strategy and its Interactive Division, which includes theScore, ESPN BET, theScore Bet, and iCasino platforms. Prior to PENN, LaBerge spent nearly 25 years at The Walt Disney Company and ESPN, culminating in his role as President & CTO of Disney Entertainment and ESPN. He joined Disney in 1997 following its acquisition of Starwave Ventures and held various technology roles until 2007. From 2007 to 2013, he was CEO of the venture‑funded startup Fanzter Inc. He returned to ESPN in 2013 as Senior Vice President of Technology and Product Development, was promoted to EVP & CTO of ESPN in 2015, and later held senior technology leadership roles across Disney’s direct‑to‑consumer and media distribution segments. LaBerge is a two‑time Sports Emmy winner. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
