ThrillTech obtains AGCO supplier licence, bringing side-bet jackpot tech to Ontario

2026-07-15

ThrillTech has secured an AGCO Gaming-Related Supplier licence to launch its ThrillPots side-bet jackpot technology in Ontario, enabling existing and potential operator partners to deploy the player-funded, non-cannibalising mechanic across regulated online casino, sports betting, and lottery platforms. The company also recently partnered with SportingTech for Latin American and African expansion.

ThrillTech has been awarded a Gaming-Related Supplier licence from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), clearing the way for the company to offer its ThrillPots side-bet jackpot technology to regulated online casino, sports betting, and lottery operators across the Canadian province.

Ontario Licence Granted

The licence allows ThrillTech’s existing multinational operator partners that already have a presence in Ontario to deploy the opt-in, player-funded jackpot system locally. The company also confirmed it is in active discussions with additional operators looking to enhance their product offerings within the regulated market. Benjamin Bradtke, co-founder of ThrillTech, described the approval as "a major step in our mission to transform how jackpots are delivered at scale across regulated markets."

ThrillPots Product

ThrillPots operates as an independent side-bet mechanic that overlays existing casino games and sportsbook offerings without altering gameplay or the underlying return-to-player (RTP) mathematics. According to the company, the tool is designed to drive incremental engagement and revenue for operators without cannibalising existing spend. The system is player-funded and opt-in, meaning players choose to participate separately from the core game.

Global Expansion and Recent Moves

Ontario joins a growing list of regulated jurisdictions where ThrillTech is licensed to operate, including the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, Romania, Malta, Gibraltar, Brazil, and Peru. The AGCO licence follows the company’s securing of a Gibraltar B2B supplier licence in June and the earlier appointment of former Bragg Gaming executive Giles Potter as chief marketing officer. In a separate recent development, ThrillTech also formed a strategic partnership with SportingTech, aimed at expanding its reach in Latin America and Africa. Peter Mareš, co-founder and chief technology officer, said the partnership with SportingTech "marks another significant milestone in our mission to make world-class jackpot technology accessible to operators worldwide."
