OdiBets Launches QTech Platform in Kenya and Tanzania

2026-08-05

OdiBets has launched QTech's aggregation platform across Kenya and Tanzania, adding localised casino content and multi-sportsbook options. The partnership extends QTech's African footprint and supports OdiBets' regional expansion plans.

OdiBets has gone live with QTech's aggregation platform in Kenya and Tanzania, giving the East African operator access to a combined casino and sportsbook offering across both regulated markets. The deployment is part of OdiBets' broader expansion plans in the region and extends QTech's footprint in Africa's mobile-first gaming sector.

Localised content for East African conditions

The newly launched casino portfolio leans on crash games and lightweight titles that are increasingly popular with African players because they bypass common barriers such as low-spec handsets, patchy network access and high data costs. QTech says every integration is tested rigorously across low- and mid-tier Android devices, so games that perform well on fibre connections but struggle on 3G outside major cities are rejected.

QTech's aggregation platform also includes multiple sportsbook providers, with BETBY and Song88 among the suppliers now available to OdiBets. This multi-sportsbook approach lets the operator select and tune which sports and markets to offer, allowing for local market adaptations and specific managed trading requirements through a single integration point.

Partnership outlook

Agatha Wanjugu, QTech's Sales Manager for East Africa, called the partnership "a significant milestone for QTech as we continue strengthening our presence across East Africa." Ekaterina Mayorova, Head of Region for Africa at QTech, said the collaboration reflects a commercial strategy of working with market leaders to maximise market position through local awareness and expertise.

Mayorova also stressed the importance of staying local, pointing to value-added BI and marketing tools that help operators tailor campaigns to local player behaviour. Benedict Murithi, Country Marketing Manager at OdiBets, said the operator's goal is to give players the best possible entertainment experience, and QTech's content portfolio, reliable technology and understanding of African markets made it the right choice.

Beyond content, QTech said it will use local data to inform its QT Play recommendation engine and other value-added services, helping OdiBets spot emerging trends and improve player retention. Both companies described the arrangement as a long-term partnership aimed at keeping OdiBets competitive as it expands beyond Kenya and Tanzania.
