High 5 Games gains supplier license for Alberta’s commercial iGaming market

High 5 Games has received supplier approval from the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission, a move that allows the studio to offer its slot portfolio to all regulated operators in the province rather than only through the government-run Play Alberta platform.

Alberta’s commercial iGaming market is set to open on 13 July 2026, making it the second Canadian province—after Ontario—to admit private-sector operators. The market, overseen by AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation, has already registered nearly 50 operator brands ahead of its launch, positioning it as one of the most anticipated regulated openings in North America this year.

The company has had a presence in Alberta since 2024 via Play Alberta, where titles such as DaVinci DeluxeWays, Billionaire’s Bank and Green Machine have built a following. That same catalogue is now available to every licensed entrant from day one of the commercial market.

The supplier’s regulated North American footprint now covers New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia and Alberta. High 5 Games has developed more than 300 titles over three decades of game development and holds certifications across all those jurisdictions.
