2026-07-17

GAT Official Launch Brazil 2026, taking place 29-30 July in São Paulo, will gather regulators, operators and investors to debate Brazil's regulated market, the World Cup, B2B licensing, land-based casino bill PL 2234, prediction markets and lotteries.

The GAT Official Launch Brazil 2026, scheduled for 29-30 July at the Jockey Club of São Paulo, will bring together regulators, operators, investors and industry experts to examine the evolving Brazilian gaming landscape. The event is organised by GAT Events, a Latin American trade show brand with over 27 years of history, and marks the company's formal expansion into Brazil.

The programme will address market regulation and enforcement, sports integrity, responsible gaming, B2B licensing, the land-based casino bill (PL 2234), prediction markets, and the federal lottery issue. A key focus will be the shift from licence issuance to effective oversight, as well as the upcoming World Cup as a test for the regulated regime.

Prominent figures have been appointed as GAT Brazil Ambassadors to support the event's launch. They include Alex W. Pariente, chair of the event and founder of Pariente Advisory, along with Neil Montgomery, Liliana Costa, Bárbara Teles, Ricardo Magri, Plínio Augusto Lemos Jorge, Bruno Omori, Amilton Noble, Sávio Prado, Iuri Castro, Georges Didier and Hugo Leite. They will moderate and participate in panels alongside government officials and business leaders.

José Aníbal Aguirre, founder and CEO of GAT Events, said: "The generous and wholehearted response from so many friends offering their support is truly motivating." He added that on 29 July an invitation-only toast will be held at Vicky Barcelona restaurant, with the full conference on 30 July at the Jockey Club.

Alex W. Pariente commented: "Brazil is no longer debating whether it will have a regulated market; it’s debating how investable it will be." Liliana Costa, Latin America Director at World Gaming Business, noted that Clarion Gaming's World Gaming Business is serving as media partner and that the market is "at a pivotal moment for the consolidation of a regulated, responsible, and sustainable ecosystem."
