BC.GAME has launched in Ghana, its third regulated market, with a licence from the Gaming Commission of Ghana. The operator aims to build a compliant, long-term presence in a growing West African market, despite recent regulatory controversies in other jurisdictions.
BC.GAME has gone live in Ghana, marking its latest step into a regulated African jurisdiction. The operator received approval from the Gaming Commission of Ghana and has launched its sportsbook and casino platform at bcgame.com.gh.
The move makes Ghana the company’s third regulated market after Mexico and Nigeria, which it entered earlier this year. According to H2 Gambling Capital data, Ghana’s online gross win reached $903.5 million in 2025, a 24% increase year-on-year from $729.8 million.
Senior legal counsel Adrian Chen said the launch reflects the operator’s regulated expansion strategy. “Our focus is to operate transparently and responsibly,” Chen stated, adding that BC.GAME aims to align its products with local requirements and build a long-term presence in the country.
Industry observers point to Ghana’s robust regulatory framework as a key draw. African iGaming Alliance CEO Peter Kesitilwe previously described Ghana as “one of West Africa’s most stable and commercially attractive markets,” citing its improving regulatory maturity and political stability as factors attracting operators.
BC.GAME’s entry follows Kaizen Gaming’s Betano brand, which launched in Ghana in February. However, the operator has faced regulatory setbacks elsewhere. It withdrew its Curaçao licence in December 2024, citing a “hostile” environment, after a court declared the company bankrupt over unpaid player funds. BC.GAME was also stripped of its UK white-label licence, raising questions about its sponsorship of English football club Leicester City.
In response to the bankruptcy ruling, BC.GAME stated it had no liquidity or financial stability issues and continues to grow through expansion into regulated markets.
