Aristocrat's Monopoly Big Board Bucks Makes Puerto Rico Debut

Aristocrat Gaming has marked the first Puerto Rican launch of its Monopoly Big Board Bucks slot title, following a launch event at Casino Metro in San Juan. The game is now available on the Jackpot del Encanto linked progressive system.

Casino Metro general manager Ismael Vega said the property’s selection as the launch site “is a testament to Casino Metro’s leadership in Puerto Rico’s gaming industry.” He added that the casino is thrilled to bring one of the world’s most recognisable brands to its guests as part of its commitment to innovative entertainment.

The land-based slot has been rolled out across 14 casinos in Puerto Rico and represents the first release under Aristocrat’s multi-year licensing agreement with toy and game giant Hasbro. Aristocrat CEO Craig Toner said the Puerto Rico launch marks another step in the global expansion of Monopoly Big Board Bucks, following its successful unveiling at Casino Metro. “We’re proud to bring this iconic brand and its innovative gameplay to players across the island through Jackpot del Encanto,” Toner stated.

Puerto Rico Gaming Commission executive director Juan Carlos Santaella Marchán welcomed the addition, noting that bringing the Monopoly brand to the island through Aristocrat’s innovation reflects confidence in Puerto Rico as a highly regulated gaming jurisdiction. He added that the availability of the title across 14 operating casinos demonstrates a commitment to economic development through a strong and responsible gaming industry.

The game previously debuted in North America and Europe, with a US launch at Yaamava’s Resort & Casino at San Manuel and a European introduction at Le Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco, just days apart. Separately, Aristocrat also recently unveiled its latest NFL-themed slot, NFL Super Grand Champions, which launched simultaneously at Pechanga Resort Casino in California and WinStar World Casino & Resort in Oklahoma in June.
