History & Evolution

Amusnet began life in 2016 as EGT Interactive, the online division of Bulgarian land-based slot manufacturer Euro Games Technology (EGT). By 2017 it had released over 100 slot games, and in 2018 it expanded its workforce to over 100 employees, achieved ISO 27001 certification, and migrated its Flash-based games to HTML5. The company won Online Content Provider of the Year at BeGexpo in 2019 and launched the popular slot Egypt Quest. In 2020 it established an in-house games project that produced hits such as 20 Golden Coins and Orient Story. The team grew to over 300 employees in 2021, and the company opened a Live Casino Studio in Sofia, launching its first live dealer roulette games. The major rebrand from EGT Interactive to Amusnet occurred in 2022, accompanied by a new R&D hub in Malta, a new office building in Sofia, and expansion into 30+ markets with more than 220 products. The workforce exceeded 500, and the company won Online Provider of the Year at BEGExpo. In 2023 Amusnet opened offices in Romania, Spain, Greece, Belgium, and the Netherlands, released 28 in-house games, entered the Argentine market, and earned a Bronze Casino/Slots Developer of the Year award at the SBC Awards. The landmark event of 2024 was the launch of its land-based vertical, the Type S slot cabinet series, which completed the company’s transformation into a multi-channel provider. By 2024 Amusnet employed over 800 people, had a portfolio of over 300 titles, and expanded into Colombia and Brazil, with 160 games certified for Brazil.

Products & Platforms

Amusnet’s offering is divided into three verticals. Online Casino comprises a diverse library of 300+ video slots with bonus features, jackpots, and high RTP; popular titles include Egypt Quest, 20 Golden Coins, Orient Story, Candy Palace, and Stoichkov #8. The company also offers keno and table games. Live Casino features a state-of-the-art studio in Sofia operating 24/7, offering European Roulette, Dynamic Roulette 120x, Speed Roulette, Vegas Roulette 500x, and Winbet 500x Roulette, with Bulgarian and Russian language tables. Land-based Solutions were introduced in 2024 with the Type S series of slot cabinets, which feature premium design, high-definition displays, and the AMUSEBOX multigame platform. The Type S 55-inch J-curved cabinet and triple-reel models are key products. The company also develops bartop terminals and standalone roulette centers.

Market Position & Licenses

Amusnet operates in over 35 regulated markets across Europe, Latin America, and North America. In 2025 it obtained a Gaming-Related Supplier–Manufacturer Registration from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), marking its entry into North America. Key partnerships include a 2026 agreement with Entain in Italy (through Amusnet Italy, covering brands such as bwin and Gioco Digitale), and collaborations with operators worldwide. The company also won the “Online Gaming” award at Expojoc 2025 in Spain.

The company has a formal CSR policy that includes supporting local charities, implementing sustainable business practices, and investing in education. In 2025 Amusnet modernized facilities at the Technical University of Sofia. It is a member of the Bulgarian Business Leaders Forum.

Future Outlook

Amusnet continues to expand its land-based footprint, with plans to roll out Type S cabinets across Western Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean in 2025–2026. The company is also developing next-generation cabinets and enhancing its AMUSEBOX platform. Online, it focuses on game customization and operator personalization features. With a strong balance sheet (estimated $33.6 million in revenue) and a growing global presence, Amusnet is positioned as a significant player in the iGaming industry.
