Zaighum Ghumman

Zaighum Ghumman is a strategy and transformation executive based in London, UK, currently serving as Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer at Outfitters Stores. Born in Karachi and raised in an Airforce family, he moved between Chaklala, Peshawar, and eventually settled in Islamabad. He holds a degree from the University of Cambridge and earned a private pilot’s license.

His career was largely built at British American Tobacco (BAT), spanning international locations including Pakistan, Colombo, and London. He spent over a decade at BAT’s Global Headquarters in London, focusing on corporate strategy and planning, working directly with the group board on transformation projects, and later assuming a dynamic commercial role for Western Europe.

Seeking a new industry challenge, he pivoted to fashion retail, joining Outfitters Stores as Chief Strategy Officer. He now drives the growth and transformation agenda for Outfitters, Ethnic, and the vertically integrated manufacturing unit Ombre, with ambitions to scale the group as a major player in both fashion and manufacturing.
