Vineet Budki

Vineet Budki is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience spanning technology, venture creation, and digital assets. He is the CEO and Managing Partner of Sigma Capital, a $100M+ crypto-native fund that has led investments in more than 300 blockchain startups across DeFi, infrastructure, GameFi, and real-world asset tokenization. His investment thesis prioritises infrastructure over hype, challenging the traditional venture capital J-curve by seeking faster liquidity and superior time-weighted returns.

Budki’s early career included a stint as cabin crew at Emirates, followed by an MBA at IE Business School and Cornell University, which he completed during the 2008 financial crisis. He subsequently founded and operated multiple startups, later pivoting into crypto mining and digital asset investing. He is a recognised voice in global Web3 investing and has been nominated for “Top Indians in UAE” by Khaleej Times.
