Steve Raack

Steve Raack is an experienced operations executive with over 20 years of leadership across the beauty, wellness, and personal care industries, spanning direct sales, affiliate, and direct-to-consumer channels. He began his career with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from USC, interning at NASA on an experimental F-18 fighter jet, before moving into management consulting at Andersen Consulting. After earning his MBA from Pepperdine University, he worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment and then in Global Operations at Herbalife International, where he gained exposure to strategy, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer service.

In 2012, Raack landed his first COO role at the startup Beautycounter, helping define the “clean beauty” category with its “Never List” ingredient policy. He later served as interim COO at Plexus and led corporate strategy at Arbonne, and has advised multiple startups. In January 2026, he was appointed COO of Atmosphera, a luxury climate-curated skincare brand, where he oversees operations, growth strategy, product development, customer experience, financial modeling, and S&OP leadership.

Outside of beauty, Raack is also the founder and managing member of Pickleball Etc., LLC (d/b/a Powerplay Pickleball), a 4.3-acre dedicated pickleball club in Los Angeles, launched in 2023. He is passionate about sustainability, notably partnering with ByFusion to make the club’s pickleball operations net-zero plastic.
