Stella David

Stella David is the permanent Chief Executive Officer of Entain Plc, a global sports betting and gaming group, a role she officially assumed on April 29, 2025. This appointment followed two periods as interim CEO for the company, first in late 2023 after Jette Nygaard-Andersen's departure, and again in February 2025, succeeding Gavin Isaacs. She initially joined the Entain Board as a non-executive director in March 2021 and also served as Chair of the group in April 2024 before stepping into the interim CEO position.

Prior to her leadership roles at Entain, David boasts an extensive career across various consumer-facing industries. She served as the Chief Executive Officer of William Grant & Sons Limited, an international spirits company, from August 2009 to March 2016. During her tenure, she was instrumental in driving business growth, particularly in premium and luxury brands, and led successful global expansions.

Before joining William Grant & Sons, David spent over 15 years with Bacardi Ltd, holding several senior positions including Senior Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer from 2005 to 2009, and Regional President from 1999 to 2004. Her early career also includes a non-executive director role at Nationwide Building Society from 2003 to 2010.

Stella David's impressive portfolio also includes numerous non-executive directorships across high-profile companies. She has served as a non-executive director at Bacardi Ltd (since June 2016), Domino's Pizza Group Plc (from 2021 to 2023), HomeServe Plc (from November 2010 to 2022), and C&J Clark Ltd (from March 2012 to 2021), where she also held an interim CEO role for eight months. Additionally, she has been the Chair of Vue International (from January 2023) and currently serves as Non-Executive Chair of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Limited.
