Stefano Vaccino

Stefano Vaccino is the founder and CEO of Yapily, an open‑banking infrastructure provider that enables account‑to‑account payments and data access. He founded the company in 2017 to address fundamental access problems in financial services, and under his leadership Yapily has grown into a key player in the open‑banking space, serving sectors including iGaming and gambling with its "Pay by Bank" solution.

During his tenure, Yapily has attracted significant investment, including a $51 million Series B in 2021 and a $13 million Series A in 2020, the latter raised during the COVID‑19 pandemic. These milestones have helped the company expand its API offerings and customer base across Europe.

Before launching Yapily, Vaccino spent time in academia and then moved into investment banking at Goldman Sachs. He later held product‑leadership roles as Chief Product Officer at Red Deer and Algomi. He holds an MBA from NYU Stern and studied at Harvard Business School, the London School of Economics, and HEC.

Vaccino is a frequent speaker on open banking and open finance, sharing insights at industry events and on podcasts. His work continues to drive innovation in financial data access and payment infrastructure.
