Simon Hay

Simon John Hay is a British finance executive with over 25 years of experience in strategic and commercial finance across the global iGaming and gambling sector. He began his career at Ladbrokes Coral Group / GVC Holdings (now Entain), where he served as Finance Transformation Director and Integration Finance Director from August 2017. In June 2019, he was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Nektan plc, a gaming platform and services provider.

He then joined The Rank Group plc as Director of Group Finance, serving as interim CFO in early 2022 before Richard Harris took over permanently. From 2022 to 2025, Hay was CFO at pawaTech Group Limited, the parent company of African sports betting and casino brand betPawa. He holds a degree from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Management Accountant.

Hay joined Winvia Entertainment as Chief Commercial Officer in November 2025 and was elevated to CFO on 1 February 2026, also joining the board. In this role, he is responsible for the company's financial strategy, reporting, and investor relations, and has been lauded for contributing to what the company described as an 'exceptional' FY2025 trading performance.
