Serena Sebastiani is the Group Chief Strategy & Venture Officer at Fuze, a regulated digital assets infrastructure provider operating across the Middle East and Turkey. In this role, she is responsible for strategic growth, product roadmap, and scaling the company’s OTC desk, digital-assets-as-a-service platform, and payments business.
Prior to joining Fuze in early 2025, Sebastiani spent 15 years at PwC, beginning in Milan and later moving to the Middle East. She served as Director and Virtual Assets Consulting Lead for PwC Middle East, advising leading investment banks, asset managers, securities services providers, governments, and regulators. She contributed to the development of Europe’s securities market infrastructure and helped shape regulatory foundations for fintech and digital assets, including advising on the creation of the first Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority.
Beyond her corporate roles, Sebastiani is Co-Chair of the MENA Fintech Association’s Digital Assets Committee and President of the GCC at the Association for Women in Cryptocurrency. She is a sought-after speaker at industry events, including iGaming and fintech conferences, where she discusses digital assets infrastructure and regulated stablecoins.
