Scot McClintic

Scot McClintic is the Chief Operating Officer of Fanatics Betting & Gaming, bringing over a decade of experience in product development, strategic business analysis, and a deep understanding of the U.S. sports betting and iGaming markets. In his role, he oversees Operations, Retail, Experience Design, Research, Strategy, Product Analytics, and Product Shared Services. McClintic has been instrumental in the company's rapid growth, contributing to its market share increase from approximately 0.5% to 5% in 2024, and achieving the fastest state-by-state rollout in U.S. online sports betting history. He emphasizes treating bettors like fans and leveraging the FanCash rewards program to differentiate the platform.

McClintic began his tenure at Fanatics Betting & Gaming as Chief Product Officer, where he guided the native development of the Fanatics Sportsbook & Casino app for iOS and Android. Prior to joining Fanatics, he served as the Senior Vice President of iGaming Product & Strategy at Paysafe Group. In this position, he was responsible for the growth of their B2B and B2C gaming businesses, supporting major clients such as DraftKings and BetMGM. His work at Paysafe built on the company's commitment to specializing in the fast-growing iGaming and sports betting markets.

Before Paysafe, McClintic was the Chief Product Officer and General Manager of Barstool Sportsbook & Casino at Penn National Gaming. During his time there, he played a key role in the 2020 launch of the Barstool Sportsbook in Pennsylvania, which quickly became the fastest downloaded sports betting app in U.S. history. His entry into the gambling industry was somewhat unconventional, starting his career in energy finance, focusing on mergers and acquisitions at NRG Energy.

His transition into iGaming occurred at Comcast NBCUniversal, where he served as a Principal. Here, he co-founded the company's sports betting and iGaming strategy team and his group launched the NBC Sports Predictor product. When the opportunity arose to explore sports betting, McClintic proactively raised his hand, leading him to engage with various industry players and eventually to Penn Entertainment. He has also held leadership roles at Acumen Fiscal Agent and Bloomberg.
