Sami Start is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Transak, a Web3 fiat-to-crypto onboarding and stablecoin payments infrastructure provider. The company enables users to buy 100+ cryptocurrencies across 75+ blockchains in over 190 countries and is backed by investors including Animoca Brands, IDG Capital, and Tether. Start co-founded Transak after participating in the ConsenSys Tachyon accelerator program in New York during the winter of 2019–2020.
Under his leadership, Transak has grown to over 100 team members across 10+ countries and processes millions of dollars in daily volume. The company is a member of the Blockchain Game Alliance (BGA) and has partnered with gaming ecosystems such as Ronin and TOWER to simplify NFT and crypto purchases.
