Rodrigo Cigliutti

Rodrigo Cigliutti is the Executive Director of the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Gambling (CIBELAE), a position he has held since 2018. With over three decades of experience in the lottery industry, he is a leading voice in promoting legal, safe, transparent, and responsible gaming across the Ibero-American region.

Cigliutti began his career in 1994 at IPRA, the state lottery of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. This formative experience provided him with deep insight into the operational and regulatory challenges faced by state-run lotteries, forming the foundation for his later work at the regional level.

At CIBELAE, he facilitates collaboration among regulators, operators, and suppliers, fostering knowledge exchange and best-practice sharing. His leadership has strengthened the association’s role as a key platform for dialogue on responsible gaming and industry innovation in Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula.

Cigliutti is a regular speaker at international industry events such as ICE and SBC Summits, where he advocates for the value of state-controlled gaming as a source of public funding. His work underscores the importance of integrity and consumer protection in an evolving gambling landscape.
