Nils Andén
Nils Andén is a seasoned executive in the online gambling and betting industry with over 20 years of experience. He began his career as a professional football player in the early 2000s before transitioning into business. He holds a degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Andén first joined Kindred Group (then Unibet) in 2006, holding a series of roles including Head of Poker, Head of Markets, and Chief Marketing Officer for the Unibet brand until 2016. After a period outside the company, he re‑joined Kindred in 2020 as Chief Commercial Officer. He was appointed interim CEO in May 2023 and later became permanent CEO, leading Kindred until its acquisition by La Française des Jeux (FDJ) in 2024.
Following the acquisition, Andén moved to FDJ in October 2024 as Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer and helped launch the combined entity under the new brand FDJ UNITED. In early 2025, he announced his departure from FDJ to pursue new projects.
Outside his executive roles, he served on the Board of Directors of EasyPark Group from 2019 to 2024. He has also held positions as Chief Marketing Officer at CurrencyFair and Director of Digital Marketing at GVC Group, though specific dates for those roles are not publicly available.
