Luís Portela de Carvalho is a Portuguese lawyer specializing in gaming, media, and entertainment law. He serves as Co-Managing Partner at Lektou, leading the firm’s Porto office after joining as a Partner in 2024. His practice focuses on regulatory compliance, cross-border mandates, M&A transactions, commercial contracts, licensing processes, and advertising regulations within the gaming sector.
Before Lektou, Portela de Carvalho was Head of Legal and Acting Head of People at Clever Advertising, a leading iGaming affiliate, from 2019 to 2023. He earlier worked as an Intellectual Property Consultant at Patentree (2018–2019) and began his career as a Trainee Lawyer at PBL & Associados (2016–2018).
