Lou Jacobs

Louis “Lou” M. Jacobs is Chief Executive Officer of Delaware North, a family-owned global leader in hospitality and entertainment, and Chairman of the American Gaming Association (as of January 2026). He shares the CEO title with his brothers Jerry and Charlie and also serves as alternate governor to the Boston Bruins. In his CEO role, Lou oversees strategic growth, corporate governance, and financial management across Delaware North’s diversified operations, which include food and retail at sports venues, hospitality at national and state parks, hotel ownership and management, gaming operations, fine dining, and sports facility ownership.

Lou joined Delaware North in 1986 and held various leadership roles over nearly three decades, including leading the company’s Australia operations. He was promoted to CEO in 2015. Under his leadership, Delaware North has continued to expand its footprint in hospitality and gaming. His election as Chairman of the American Gaming Association in January 2026 reflects his prominence in the gaming industry.

Beyond his corporate roles, Lou is passionate about community service. He serves on the board of FeedMore WNY, a nonprofit combating hunger in Western New York, and chairs its capital campaign. He has also served on the board of the UB Foundation and the Everglades Foundation Chairman’s Advisory Council. A lifelong horse enthusiast, he was a committee member on the Harry M. Zweig Memorial Fund for Equine Research at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Lou earned both a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from Harvard University. He and his wife Joan live in East Aurora, New York. They have two children, Louis Jr. and Charlotte.
