Loretta Joseph is an Australian‑based expert in financial services, virtual assets, and digital‑asset regulation. With a foundation in investment banking and an economics degree from the University of Sydney, she now influences international policy through her work with the OECD, FATF, and numerous governments.
She currently serves as Senior Policy Advisor and Consultant at McDonell‑Nadeau and as Deputy Chair of the ADC Global Advisory Group. She also chairs the International Digital Asset Exchange Association (IDAXA) and acts as a regulatory consultant to the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius and the Bermuda government.
Her speaking engagements and advisory roles focus on responsible blockchain implementation, financial integrity, and harmonising innovation with regulation. She has been a FinTech Advisor to the OECD since 2018 and contributes to FATF guidance, shaping global standards for digital assets.
