Laurent Lassiaz

Laurent Lassiaz is a French casino executive with a background in hospitality and food service. He began his career as Operations Director for KFC and Pizza Hut in France, where he helped shape KFC's entry into the French market. He later spent a decade at Club Med, focusing on delivering consistent customer experiences across destinations.

Headhunted into the casino industry, Lassiaz joined Moliflor Loisirs (later renamed Groupe JOA) as Président du Directoire in 2008. Under his leadership, the group more than doubled in size, becoming France's second-largest casino operator with 33–34 casinos. Lassiaz now serves as CEO of JOA Group, where he champions the gambletainment philosophy—blending gaming, dining, leisure, and entertainment to transform casinos into lifestyle destinations.

He also holds leadership roles in industry bodies: Vice-President of the European Casino Association and Vice-President of the Syndicat Professionnel Casinos de France.
