Julia Spitze

Julia Spitze is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Bernstein Group, a strategic consulting firm with offices in Berlin and Brussels. She has been advising companies and associations on their political positioning and developing effective political strategies for over 15 years. Her expertise includes lobbying at federal, state, and local levels, and she has supported numerous clients in structuring their representation of interests.

Spitze has extensive experience in the political and media support of court disputes in Germany and the European Union. Since 2003, she has successfully guided numerous market entries and client innovations. She played a key role in building up Bernstein Public Policy (formerly Steltemeier & Rawe until 2015) and establishing its presence in the Berlin market, becoming a partner in 2011.

In February 2022, Julia Spitze assumed the role of CEO of Bernstein Group as part of a new leadership structure, while continuing to actively manage mandates. She emphasized the group's broader positioning and specialization across its locations in Berlin, Brussels, and Frankfurt am Main. The Bernstein Group's practice areas include Digital, Gaming & Gambling, indicating her firm's involvement in the iGaming sector through its consulting services.

Academically, Julia Spitze is an economist and political scientist, having completed her studies at the Universities of Heidelberg in Germany and Galway in Ireland.
