Joseph Lobe is the Acting Chief Legal Officer at Mohegan, where he oversees the legal, compliance, and risk management functions for the company's corporate operations and its properties, including Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Mohegan Pennsylvania, and Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Lobe began his career in the gaming industry in the finance department of Foxwoods Resort Casino before joining Mohegan in 2008. Over his tenure, he has held a variety of roles, including positions in mergers and acquisitions and within the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority legal department. His deep experience across corporate and property-level legal matters led to his appointment as Acting Chief Legal Officer.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Eastern Connecticut State University, where he later served as an adjunct professor for many years, and a Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law. Lobe also serves as an officer of the ECSU Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports programs at his alma mater.
