José Vall

José Vall Royuela is the president of the Spanish Association of Gaming and Recreation Hall Business Owners (ANESAR) and the CEO of Valisa Internacional SA, a leading operator of gaming and recreation halls in Spain. He has been a prominent advocate for the land-based gambling sector, particularly during the post-COVID recovery period, highlighting the disproportionate impact of pandemic restrictions and regulatory changes on physical gaming establishments.

Vall has spoken at major industry conferences such as the 11th Gaming Hall Congress in June 2024 and Expojoc 2025, where he emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence between online and offline gambling and called on regional administrations to act as referees in levelling the playing field. He has also authored op-eds expressing concern over business uncertainty, rising costs, and the closure of hundreds of gaming halls across Spanish autonomous communities.

Prior to his current roles, Vall built his career in the gaming industry through Valisa Internacional and has led ANESAR since at least 2022. He continues to be a vocal representative of the sector, pushing for fair competition and sustainable growth.
