John S. Levy

John S. Levy is the founder of Score Media and Gaming Inc., the company behind the sports‑news app “theScore” and the mobile sportsbook “theScore Bet.” He has been instrumental in building the company from its inception.

He led the organization as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from its spin‑out from Score Media in 2012 through its acquisition by Penn Entertainment in October 2021. Under his leadership, the company expanded into regulated online sports betting and iGaming in the United States and Canada, including a landmark launch in Ontario in 2022.

Following the acquisition, Levy transitioned to the role of Executive Chairman, overseeing theScore’s continued operation as a Penn subsidiary. In 2025, the company absorbed ESPN Bet’s customer base, further strengthening its market position.
