
Jeremy Balkin is the founder and CEO of TodayPay, a technology company creating the new payments category “Refunds as a Service™.” Before founding TodayPay, he served as Managing Director for J.P. Morgan in New York City, where he led fintech innovation and corporate development within the Payments business. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Balkin was Head of Innovation for HSBC Bank USA, responsible for fintech innovation and exponential growth strategy for North America. He also served as an executive at Macquarie Bank and as an adviser to the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull, Australia’s 29th Prime Minister.
Balkin is a multi-award-winning author of two books: Investing with Impact: Why Finance is a Force for Good and Millennialization of Everything: How to Win When Millennials Rule the World. He coined the phrase “Payments are eating the world” and is a recognized thought leader in fintech and payments. He has been named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, received the Advance Global Australian Award from the Prime Minister of Australia, and was listed among the Top 35 Millennial Influencers in the USA. He is an alumnus of UNSW and has run six marathons.
TodayPay has been recognized as a Most Fundable Company by Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and Most Innovative Alternative Payments Solution by PAN Finance. Balkin’s work is reshaping the payments landscape with a focus on speed and consumer choice.
