Jason Warnick

Strategic Advisor – Robinhood Markets, Inc.

Robinhood

Jason Warnick brings more than two decades of finance leadership experience, most notably as the former Chief Financial Officer of Robinhood Markets, Inc. and a longtime Amazon executive. He began his career at Amazon in 1999, where over nearly 20 years he held a variety of senior finance roles, ultimately serving as Vice President of Finance and chief of staff to the CFO. His tenure at Amazon provided deep expertise in scaling financial operations within a high-growth environment.

In late 2018, Warnick joined Robinhood as its first CFO, charged with building the company's financial infrastructure ahead of its initial public offering. Under his leadership, Robinhood achieved its first full year of GAAP profitability in 2024 and successfully navigated the transition from a private startup to a public company. He also oversaw the financial strategy behind the firm's expansion into event-based contracts, including NFL and college football prediction markets, which regulators and critics have likened to sports gambling — placing him at the intersection of fintech and iGaming.

After seven years as CFO, Robinhood announced Warnick's planned retirement in November 2025. He transitioned to the role of Strategic Advisor in the first quarter of 2026 and will remain with the company until September 1, 2026. In this advisory capacity, he continues to provide guidance on strategic initiatives, leveraging his extensive background in finance and his experience navigating regulatory and market challenges within the emerging prediction market space.
