Jason Guyot

Jason Guyot is a Mashantucket Pequot tribal member and the first tribal member to hold the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Foxwoods Resort Casino, the largest integrated resort destination in the Northeast.

Guyot began his career at Foxwoods as a bellhop in the mid-1990s while still in high school. After earning a bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences from Mitchell College, he formally joined the organization in 2003. Over the next 17 years, he advanced through human resources, hotel operations, and resort development, holding roles such as Manager of Employment and Diversity, Director of Operations and Shared Services during the opening of MGM Grand at Foxwoods, Vice President of Hotel Operations, and Senior Vice President of Resort Operations.

In April 2020, Guyot was appointed interim President and CEO, and the role was made permanent in March 2021. Under his leadership, Foxwoods shifted from a gaming-centric property to a fully integrated resort destination, adding attractions like Great Wolf Lodge, a DraftKings Sportsbook, Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen, Monza World-Class Indoor Karting, and the HighFlyer Zipline. The resort nearly doubled its profitability while improving team member engagement.

Guyot serves on several boards, including Special Olympics Connecticut, the Connecticut Restaurant Association, the Connecticut Business & Industry Association, Mitchell College Board of Trustees, and the Connecticut Tourism Council, to which he was appointed by Governor Ned Lamont.
