Jason Giles

Jason Giles is the Executive Director of the Indian Gaming Association (IGA), the Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing the gaming interests of sovereign tribal nations. An enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, he has led the organization since November 2012, championing the economic and political rights of Indian tribes through gaming.

Under his leadership, the IGA has advanced legislative advocacy, fostered industry partnerships, and managed major events such as the annual Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention. Giles has been instrumental in promoting tribal self-sufficiency and the use of gaming revenues to fund community development, education, and healthcare.

His work emphasizes the sovereign authority of tribal nations to operate gaming enterprises as a tool for economic independence. Giles regularly speaks at industry conferences and participates in policy discussions on the federal and state levels, representing over 180 member tribes.

Prior to his role at the IGA, Giles built a career focused on tribal law and policy, though specific earlier positions are not widely documented. He holds a degree from the University of Oklahoma School of Law and has been a key voice in protecting tribal gaming rights for over a decade.
