Hon. Alex Borg
Leader of the Opposition of Malta and Nationalist Party MP; iGaming industry speaker at SiGMA World events
Hon. Alex Borg is a Maltese politician of the Nationalist Party (Partit Nazzjonalista). He was elected to the Parliament of Malta for the Fourteenth Legislature (2022–2026) and subsequently became Leader of the Opposition, the highest-ranking opposition figure in the country.
In addition to his parliamentary duties, Borg is a regular speaker at SiGMA World conferences, where he addresses topics related to Malta’s regulatory environment and the iGaming sector. He has also participated in SiGMA Foundation initiatives, including fundraising events for DAR Bjorn.
