Hector Fernandez is the Chief Executive Officer of IGT, leading the industry’s broadest portfolio spanning Gaming, Digital, FinTech, and casino systems. He officially joined IGT on December 3, 2025, following the combination of IGT’s Gaming & Digital business with Everi Holdings, backed by Apollo Global Management.
Fernandez brings a proven track record in gaming and technology, having most recently served as CEO of Aristocrat Gaming, a global gaming content and technology company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. During his tenure at Aristocrat, he oversaw the end-to-end delivery of the company’s land-based business worldwide and is recognized for leading strategic initiatives that drove market share, revenue growth, and increased profitability.
Before joining the gaming industry, Fernandez trained as a CPA and earned an MBA. He immigrated from Guatemala to Los Angeles, and his personal journey from immigrant to gaming industry leader is a recurring theme in his public speaking. He is based in Las Vegas, home of IGT’s global headquarters, and serves on the board of the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA).
