Guy Fietz is the Group Chief Executive Officer of Gigadat Inc., a Canadian payment processing and financial technology company that specializes in iGaming transaction solutions. Under his leadership, Gigadat has grown from a small operation to processing over $1 billion per month and employing 150 people.
Fietz began his career in the 1990s as CEO of Ganz Enterprises (1994–2002). In 1998, he founded Triton, which became the first clearinghouse for fixed-line and mobile telephone billing in Canada. After the telecom market commoditised, Fietz pivoted to develop a direct-debit solution for gaming merchants.
In 2013, he joined Gigadat Inc. as Group CEO, a role he still holds. He holds a Bachelor of Science in IT from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and studied Business/Commerce at the University of Hong Kong.
