Greg Topalian

Greg Topalian has spent over 25 years in the trade show and enthusiast events industry, with a strong focus on the gaming and iGaming sector. He began his career at RX Global (formerly Reed Exhibitions), where he oversaw events including the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) and launched New York Comic Con. In 2014 he founded LeftField Media, a boutique event company that was acquired by Clarion Events in 2016.

Topalian joined Clarion Events and became CEO of Clarion Events North America from 2017 to 2023, focusing on organic growth and acquisitions. In February 2024 he was elevated to Chairman of Clarion Events North America, a role that gave him freedom to explore non‑competitive ventures. He launched On Deck Ventures in 2023, a platform to advise, invest in, and support early‑stage event startups. In March 2025 he announced his departure from Clarion to dedicate full effort to On Deck Ventures and a portfolio of companies including Ai4, Yotta, RetCon, CloudFest North America, Stablecon, The Longevity Show, eMerge Americas, Explori, Deep Tech Momentum, Quantum World Congress, ATHX Games, and as a founding member of Events Venture Group (EVG). He also serves on the Board of Directors of SportsGrid (appointed 2022).
