Farihan Alhassan

Farihan Alhassan is a Ghanaian banking executive with over two decades of experience in commercial banking. He was appointed Managing Director of GCB Bank PLC in 2024, one of Ghana's largest commercial banks. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at Stanbic Bank Ghana, most recently as Business & Commercial Clients Executive Head. Earlier in his career, he became the youngest regional manager at Barclays Bank (now Absa) at age 26.

Beyond traditional banking, Alhassan has engaged with the African gaming and lottery sector, speaking at events organized by the African Lotteries & Gaming Association and being featured on iGamingAFRIKA. He serves on the Mastercard Africa Leadership Council and is recognized for his contributions to financial architecture in Africa. His role at GCB Bank remains his primary focus, but his participation in gaming industry forums makes him a notable figure at the intersection of banking and iGaming.
