Fabián Luayza

Fabián Luayza Troncozo (born 10 June 1976 in Berazategui) is an Argentine provincial legislator focused on digital regulation, online gambling oversight, and election integrity. Elected in 2023 as a candidate of La Libertad Avanza, he now sits in the Buenos Aires Province Chamber of Deputies as part of the Unión Renovación y Fe bloc and the Nuevos Aires political space. His legislative work has centered on curbing youth gambling addiction and reforming online betting advertising.

Luayza has co-authored multiple bills that directly affect the iGaming sector. One key proposal restricts advertising by online betting operators, prohibiting the use of influencers, athletes, artists, and sports clubs in promotions while mandating stricter age‑verification systems and higher penalties. He also serves as a member of a newly formed legislative commission on Problem Gambling (Ludopatía), created to address rising youth gambling addiction. Additionally, he has sponsored a bill to ban malicious use of AI in campaigns, including deepfakes and bots.

Outside of gambling regulation, Luayza has filed audits on environmental preservation at Parque Pereyra and has held local leadership roles in Berazategui. He maintains an active public presence on Instagram and often engages in political debate on social media.
