Co-founder of cybersecurity unicorn Nord Security and business incubator Tesonet
Eimantas Sabaliauskas is a Lithuanian entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of Nord Security, the company behind the popular VPN service NordVPN, and Tesonet, a business incubation and investment group. Together with childhood friend Tomas Okmanas, Sabaliauskas started Tesonet in 2008, experimenting with 34 different projects before finding success. In 2012, the duo founded NordVPN, responding to growing demand for online privacy and security.
Under their leadership, Nord Security grew from a small bootstrapped startup into a global cybersecurity ecosystem with over 15 million users, achieving unicorn status in 2022 and a $3 billion valuation in 2023. Sabaliauskas is also involved in other ventures, including NordPass and Surfshark, and serves as CBDO (Chief Business Development Officer) at Tesonet. In 2022, he received the Lithuanian Order for Merits for his contributions to innovation.
