Dr Sithira Ambepitiya is a medical doctor (MBBS) turned AI leader, currently serving as Head of Generative AI at Veracity Digital as of December 2025. His unique clinical background informs his work on clinically relevant, multi-agentic, workflow-based LLM systems and the advancement of medical synthetic data.
He has spoken at major iGaming industry events including SiGMA and AIBC World conferences, delivering talks on AI agents and intelligent automation. His expertise bridges healthcare and cutting-edge generative AI, positioning him as a thought leader in the intersection of medicine and artificial intelligence.
Prior to Veracity Digital, Dr Ambepitiya was the Generative AI Lead at Aagee.ai, a role he held into early 2025. He also serves as Head of AI – AIGP at Cocoon, an AI training platform, and is a Fellow of the ntech Institute, reflecting his commitment to advancing AI education and research.
