Dr Marwan Alzarouni

Dr Marwan Alzarouni serves as CEO of AI at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and CEO of the Dubai Blockchain Center, driving Dubai’s vision as a global hub for emerging technologies. With over 25 years of experience spanning information security, digital forensics, blockchain, and AI, he has been instrumental in building secure and ethical digital infrastructure.

He is a founding member of the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) and the Artificial Intelligence Ethical Committee, shaping governance frameworks for AI and blockchain in the region. His leadership has been recognized globally, including being named among the Top 100 Most Influential People in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies by CoinTelegraph and one of the Top 20 Performing CEOs in 2025.

Dr Alzarouni is a frequent keynote speaker at global conferences such as AIBC, Domain Days Dubai, and STEP, where he advocates for the responsible adoption of emerging technologies.
