Bahar Alaeddini is a specialist gambling lawyer with a dual role as Partner at Harris Hagan in the UK and Partner at Alaeddini & Co. in the UAE. She advises many of the world’s largest land-based and online gambling businesses, covering both B2C and B2B operations, as well as startups, investors, governments, trade associations, and leading international law firms. Her practice encompasses legal classification, licence applications, change of corporate control, complex group restructuring, regulatory compliance assessments, investigations, and licence reviews.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2008 after studying Law at King’s College London. She initially worked as a solicitor in public inquiry and healthcare regulation roles before joining Harris Hagan as an Assistant Solicitor in 2012. She was elevated to Partner at the firm in 2016 at the age of 31. In early 2025, she announced the launch of Alaeddini & Co., a UAE-based practice, further expanding her international footprint in gaming law.

Bahar is recognized by Chambers UK as “very pragmatic and straightforward” and is ranked among the top gambling lawyers in the UK. She serves as General Counsel for the International Association of Gaming Advisors (IAGA), sits on the Vixio Gambling Compliance Global Advisory Board, and is the contributing editor for the Chambers Global Practice Guide on Gaming Law. She was named one of the top 10 Most Influential Women of 2023 by iGB and is a regular conference speaker.
