Anthony Hinchliffe is a Sheffield-born philanthropic entrepreneur. He founded Ant Marketing in 1989, operating from his kitchen table with a single phone line. The company has since grown into one of the UK’s leading telemarketing and business process outsourcing providers.
In 2016, Hinchliffe was diagnosed with bowel cancer and underwent five weeks of daily radiotherapy and a six-hour operation, after which he was given the all-clear. He has since become a patron of Weston Park Cancer Charity and has raised over £41,000 for cancer services through company sponsorship.
He describes the company’s growth as driven by the people who believed in his vision, and he remains actively involved in day-to-day operations and business development.
