Andrew Rhodes is a senior public‑sector executive who served as Chief Executive of the UK Gambling Commission from 2022 to 2024, having first joined as Interim Chief Executive in June 2021. During his tenure he was also appointed a Commissioner by the Secretary of State in July 2023. As the Commission’s Accounting Officer, he was personally responsible for safeguarding public funds and for the day‑to‑day operations of the regulator.

Before leading the Gambling Commission, Rhodes held senior leadership roles in both academia and the civil service.
