Alistair Quigley is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Gambling Commission, the statutory regulator of gambling in Great Britain. He oversees the Commission's digital services, IT infrastructure, and facilities, a role he has held since joining the organisation in 2006.
With a 35‑year career in IT, Quigley began his professional journey managing a Midlands‑based IT training centre. He then spent six years at National Express, ultimately serving as IT Director and leading the transport company’s rapid online growth. Subsequently, he became Managing Director of IVU Traffic Technologies UK, a specialist software developer, before moving to the Gambling Commission.
Quigley holds a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Wolverhampton. He continues to lead technology strategy and digital transformation at the UK's gambling regulator.
